David Benscoter, retired FBI detective, has been searching for apple varieties, lost from production.  He will be in Waitsburg over the weekend to tour some of our old orchards and local trees, hoping to find a variety that has been lost to time.

There will be a fundraiser dinner and silent auction at Ten Ton Press (Main Street) for The Lost Apple Project on Saturday (9/30) at 5:00PM, before the lecture at The Waitsburg Elementary School Library at 6:30PM.
