Youth & Government

Waitsburg’s Youth & Government program was established in 2008 through the Waitsburg High School. When the school decided to no longer offer the program they joined RYES in 2019. The YMCA Youth & Government Program teaches participants how government works. Each year the Waitsburg Delegation takes between four - ten students to the Washington State Capital to participate in a Youth Legislature for five days.
